HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST TREATMENT?

My advice to all new patients is "wear loose clothing". It is practical advice. If you can roll up sleeves and trouser legs you most of the commonly used acupuncture points can be accessed this way.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

Weekly sessions are quite usual to begin with, for perhaps 5 or 6 treatments, reducing in frequency as your body responds.

WILL MY HEALTH INSURANCE PAY FOR ACUPUNCTURE?

Some health insurance companies will cover treatment with BAcC registered acupuncturists; check with your insurer. If they do, they will usually reimburse you against a paid invoice for the acupuncture.
